Payments made via the website are encrypted and are carried out by external and secure payment agencies. We do not have access to any of your details relating to debit or credit cards or other banking information.

We respect your privacy and assure you that we only share your information if you have given us permission to do so. We do reserve the right to disclose information in certain circumstances, as is clearly set out in our Privacy Policy. Please read the Policy and feel free to contact us if you have questions.

You can browse the site and even select on listings without creating an account, however, once you are ready to make a listing of your ad online you will need to register an account before you can do so.

Once you've created an account, advertising with us will be an easy process and you will benefit from:

The Terms and Conditions on our website apply to each person who registers an account with us, and to every subscription and payment that is made via our website.

It's therefore important that you read and understand the Terms and Conditions before you make any purchases and if you have any queries about them please contact us.

We will only send you emails and our newsletter if you choose this option when you registered your account with us. We won't pass your details onto anyone else. If you have opted to receive emails and our newsletter and you change your mind, you can remove yourself from our mailing list whenever you like.

Payments

We currently accept all Credit, Debit & Instant EFT's via our payment provider here.

PLEASE USE YOUR ORDER ID AS THE REFERRENCE FOR YOUR PAYMENT

We will always obtain bank authorization for the charge to your debit/credit card once you place an order with us. Your card will be charged once your subscription is confirmed online.

We are not always able to specify why card payments have not cleared.

The card payment process involves both our systems and your bank. If a card payment fails, please double check that you have entered all the card details correctly and that you are using a card which has not expired.

If the payment continues to fail, then please try an alternative card for payment.

The Bump Up feature is a one-time refresh of old ads, making them appear new. It pushes your ad from its current position (for example, page 5) back to the first page. Being on the top page means that your ad will gain better exposure in its category and searches.

Your ad will remain at the top until another Construction Junction ad is posted or bumped up. As new ads are posted, it will begin to shift down. Due to this constant rotation of ads, a Bump Up won’t keep your ad on the front page indefinitely. But, in searches that use keywords or specific areas and categories, the effects of a Bump Up can last for a significant length of time.

Technical

After your ad is created, it can take a little while for it to appear on the site. It is first set to draft until our admin team approves that it has met all standard requirements of Construction Junction, thereafter will be published on our site. If you can't find your ad on the site within 48 hours, the first thing to check is whether the ad is active or inactive.

Other than expiring naturally, there are 3 ways that your ad can be removed from Construction Junction. To check what happened to your ad, go into the Manage my Ads section.

On Hold

An ad marked Hold means that something about the ad needs to be edited before it can be reposted. Check your email for more information on what specifically needs to be changed.

Deleted

Ads that say Deleted have been removed from the user’s end. If you or someone using your account accidentally deleted your ad, you can repost it right away by clicking Repost on that ad.

Removed

Removed means that your ad has been removed from Construction Junction for a violation of our site policies. When this happens, an email will be sent to your account’s primary email explaining which policy was broken. If you can’t find the email, check your email’s junk and/or spam folders. You can review our site policies in the General Posting Policies article.

If you don’t continue to break any of our policies, you may repost your ad at any time. If the service, or job you’re posting is against our policies, we ask that you please refrain from reposting.

If you have questions about our policies or feel that your ad was not breaking Construction Junction’s policies, please contact our customer support team. We’ll be happy to investigate the situation.

There can be several issues that interfere with uploading images to the site. If you’re having trouble, try the following:

  • Check the size of your images.
  • Each individual photo must be under 8 MB. If your photos are over 8 MB, reduce the size and try again.
  • Check the format of the images. Construction Junction accepts JPEG and PNG. If your image is not one of these formats, you will need to convert it before uploading.
  • Make sure your web browser isn’t interfering.
